Poetry

An ongoing series I started in 2018: short poems set into photographs of ordinary moments. It comes from Zen, and asks what now means in the age of social media.

ABOUT THE SERIES

What does now mean, now?

Zen asks you to be here, now. I wanted to take that into the place where most of us spend our now: the feed.

Each piece pairs one photograph with one line: a lightbulb, a brush, dishes in the sink, a red pillow. The words sit inside the picture, made for the second it takes to scroll past, and meant to make you stop.
